About

Our Company

Nestan Pty Ltd is an Australian owned company specialising in IT Strategy/Architecture consultancy services and products. We assist organisations to improve business and IT alignment through the use of contemporary enterprise architecture practices and tools.

Each of our principal consultants has over 10 years of experience in developing IT strategies and enterprise architecture across a broad range of organisations, plus more than 15 years of hands-on business experience in various IT areas like application development, infrastructure services, data management and project management.

Our enterprise architecture products and methodologies consist of a set of field proven best practices, checklists, templates, models and tools that help to provide optimised consulting services to the clients.

Our Mission

We use Yin and Yang to represent our vision for enterprise architecture practices. In Chinese philosophy, Yin and Yang describe the two opposing and, at the same time, complementary aspects of any phenomena in the natural world, combining to create a unity of opposites in the theory of the Taiji.

Over time, distributed IT environments gradually disintegrate into independent local operations with redundant and outdated applications, non-standard processes and endless lists of unmonitored IT assets. Millions of dollars are wasted year after year in supporting this complex environment. In addition, IT is struggling to add new capabilities to fulfil the ever changing business needs in a cost effective and timely manner.

Nestan’s services, products and methodologies helps to modernise your IT environment to reduce the complexity. Our mission is to combine our enterprise architecture practices with your IT practices to create a unity (Yin and Yang) that positions IT as a competitive advantage for your business.

Our Principles

Nestan’s enterprise architecture services and products are based on the following principles:

  1. Actionable – turn concepts into reality
  2. Adaptable – flexible and fit your environment
  3. Understandable – make architecture simple for everyone
  4. Just-in-time – just when it is needed
